Earth Angels Of Darkness, Demons Of Light I
Voto:
They have not a few problems with inspiration.

I only heard "Audiobook." Taken in small doses, but I know it's one of my limitations, I quite like it.
Dinosaur Jr. Hand It Over
Voto:
It's definitely a match with "Green Mind," which has a certain complete focus; I can't find a less inspired track. However, when I take the standout pieces from "Hand It Over" individually, whether due to the freedom to wander on the theme or because they are even more intimate (although paradoxically, the most intimate moment, in the truest sense of the word, of Dinosaur Jr is performed by Barlow, with Mascis's - sadistic - words), they tell me so much more.
Dinosaur Jr. Hand It Over

The album deserves much more than what is said around, "Alone," "I'm Insane," and "Loaded" don’t just come out of nowhere. As rightly pointed out by donjunio (brilliant!), for Mascis it is the best major album of, indeed it’s appropriate to say of, the dinosaur. And I find myself in agreement with Giuseppone.
Opal Early Recordings

Never heard this before, but I think the LP is the best thing to come out in the Paisley scene, even compared to what Rain Parade and Dream Syndicate have done.
Spacemen 3 Playing With Fire

One of their pushers is undoubtedly the Sert (methadone), while the main one (heroin) really must be a good one, as they say here.
Gaunt I Can See Your Mom From Here

It's true that Punk '76/'77/'78 is a completely different story from every (EVERY) point of view. But like with anything, it's important to contextualize: in the Nineties, that stuff was the best Punk around. Those who got into Punk with a significant delay (the Nineties or early millennium, like me) can only revel in those heroes, so very unheroic. A small aside for the New Bomb Turks who, as far as I'm concerned, with their latest explorations have shown that they can vary quite a lot on the theme and with a class that goes beyond 1, 2, 3, 4.

Look, as I remember it, the bassist of Gaunt left and was replaced by dear Jim Motherfucker Weber. Anyway, who cares, and what a show-off you are, you're pulling out golden nuggets, review after review. Keep it up!
Spacemen 3 Playing With Fire

Good first and excellent choice. This comes right after the unbeatable "The Perfect Prescription," slightly pushing the conversation further ahead (or rather, further into orbit).

Honestly, I have no idea. At first, I thought you were referring to her transitional period with the Gaunt, on the bass. Unveil the mystery to me!
