Marilyn Manson The Golden Age of Grotesque

I completely agree that his life changes along with the style of the album. The album "Eat Me, Drink Me" is an example, but also the latest work "The High End of Low":)

Regarding the constructed image of Marilyn Manson, how many artists or groups in the past have played with their image? I could make a whole list. Here it seems that Marilyn Manson is the only one who has played with his image.

Many people criticize Marilyn Manson for his look and his perverse exhibitionism (as some claim), especially in the nineties, when he was a completely different artist and more exposed to attacks from critics. Unfortunately, people are only good at criticizing his image, but they know little or nothing about his music, dismissing it as junk. Clearly, they don’t realize that Marilyn Manson has had decent musicians, like John 5 or Twiggy Ramirez, who may not be super geniuses, but are certainly not mediocre musicians. I really like how John 5 sounds. Regarding the album, it's not my favorite, but it features some very good tracks.

You wrote a very original page that is fluid to read, but also too vague and scattered at the same time, which is why my rating is low :)

I still need to buy this album, but I've already listened to some tracks. In the meantime, I've listened to the latest work "Anno Domini High Definition," which differs a lot in sound compared to the previous albums :)

@ Fosca and Foreveryoung... I'm sorry to intervene, please don't misunderstand me. However, it seems to me that instead of being on a site where we talk about music and other things primarily, it feels more like being in school. I mean... I've really read reviews that have grammatical errors more than mistakes, and no one says anything. Now it seems like my review is being put "on the cross" for some typos. Anyone who reads my reviews in the future, I would prefer to receive more criticism on the content I write rather than the form... otherwise, if we start pointing out the errors, we might lose a bit of the spirit of "reviewing":):)
Katatonia Tonight's Decision
Voto:
In my opinion, Katatonia has had a completely "ascending" career in recent years. The latest album they released, "The Great Cold Distance," I like a lot, but for me, the best album they’ve made among the more recent ones is "Last Fair Deal Gone Down." Regarding the album you reviewed, I don’t like it very much; in short, it failed to move me—maybe I need to listen to it more carefully. Meanwhile, "Discouraged Ones" was the first album where Katatonia sang without growl; they’ve changed quite a bit since their early days. Travis Smith is a genius with cover art :). Now all that’s left is to wait for their new album "Night Is the New Day," which, if I'm not mistaken, comes out in November. I’ve already seen the artwork, and it’s really beautiful….

@ Foreveryoung..well XD
when you write such a review, typos happen... I even wrote "realmente app(E)rteniamo":)
Anyway, I'm glad that some people liked my review; honestly, for the Haggard review I could have done much better...

Regarding Asis Nasseri's "growl," I don't agree with you because I believe it's normal for the live performance to be different from the way you sing in a recording studio, so I think it's obvious that Asis Nasseri's "growl" on the album might differ from his live performance; there's a bit of a difference in the "growl" that Asis sings in "Eppur si Muove"....
As for everything else, I respect your opinion; everyone has their own personal opinions, after all;-)
Sorry for the long message:)
