I don't think that in the end the editors should publish everything because if they were to filter the reviews, it would create dangerous precedents: a user annoys an editor (or a user who asks to become an editor) and that editor might forget to publish their reviews! Then an editor can certainly express their own opinion or choose not to publish a review; after all, comments also serve this purpose! Anyway, guys, don't get worked up, don't insult each other over nonsense, it's really not worth it! Hi everyone and have a good day.

The review isn’t exactly stellar, a bit too enthusiastic! The album is a masterpiece, but you’ll see that in the Thrash scene there are many others that can move you ("Peace Sells" by Megadeth, "Bonded By Blood" by Exodus, "Reign In Blood" by Slayer, "Agent Orange" by Sodom, etc.). Technicality has never really been the Metallica’s strong suit; in my opinion, this album has that blend of American and European Metal that successfully balances violence and melody (Slayer, for example, is at the opposite end, drawing more from hardcore and cutting out the melodic aspect altogether); plus, Burton was truly an amazing bassist! Anyway, welcome to DB and prepare for the worst! Hello everyone, and have a great day.

I’ll go against the grain, but I liked the book; I found it to be a very straightforward and simple thriller that I enjoyed reading. The problem, in my opinion, was all the media circus that surrounded it: alleged theories about Jesus, ecclesiastical conspiracies, Freemasonry, etc., etc. Many took it for a historical essay, hoping for some kind of revelation or something else; it’s simply a novel, that’s all, a source of light entertainment that may or may not appeal to you, with a fairly innovative plot and a good pace; if you want history, just read books that address it. In conclusion, I believe that without all the publicity, the book would have gone largely unnoticed and wouldn’t have received either a lot of criticism or a lot of praise, as happens with many novels that are released every year. Hello everyone and good evening.

Bartleboom, you’re right too, the Dark Angels are lethal!!! I have a beautiful reprinted version of "Darkness Descends." Hi and have a good day!

In my opinion, Slayer (a band I adore, RIB is one of my favorite albums) are the champions of a certain way of understanding Thrash, namely the more extreme, grim, and uncompromising kind, both musically and lyrically. I believe that to listen and appreciate bands like Annihilator, one must set aside the idea of Thrash Metal as an extreme genre. Although they hit pretty hard (as I mentioned in the review, this album has some "slayerian" references), the Canadian band has always aimed to differentiate itself and not overlook the melodic aspect of their proposal. In this regard, I recommend reading an interview with Jeff Waters (it's in Italian, I can’t recall the site, but it can easily be found on Google) in which the guitarist himself highlights this, referring to the period of "Set The World On Fire," a particular album released at a time when bands like the aforementioned Sepultura and Pantera were astounding everyone with a powerful and ferocious sound! In conclusion, I think making such a distinction can help better appreciate this band. Of course, if someone doesn’t like the melodic aspect of HM and prefers more in-your-face albums, well, then they’re absolutely right to direct their interests towards other great bands! Hello everyone, and have a good evening.

Well, in the end it's a bit like what I said: the songs in question are beautiful, no doubt about it, but in the end I prefer to listen to "Highway To Hell" on the self-titled album so I don't miss out on the others!

In my opinion, it’s been a few years now that soundtracks no longer exist. Albums come out that seem more like compilations with one, at most two songs that actually appear in the film, and above all, they are offered at very high prices, only to drop drastically after just a couple of months! I won’t rate the album because on one hand the songs are nice, so listening to it would be enjoyable for me, but on the other hand, I see the futility of it all. So what do I do: do I rate the music? Well, I could buy the original albums that also have other songs. Do I rate the product itself? I don’t know, but I repeat the songs are nice. I abstain, but I believe that sometimes certain operations are unnecessary; maybe to some young person this album could lead them to discover AC/DC, who knows... after all, optimism is the spice of life. Hello everyone and have a good evening.

Look at Casamorta, on vocals there's Dave Padden, the same who sang in "All For You," "Schizo Deluxe," and "Metal." He has a pretty nice and versatile voice, smoothly transitioning from aggressive to clean. As for the rest of the lineup, I don't know if the other musicians are permanent members or session players, so I prefer not to provide random information. Hi everyone, and thanks for stopping by!

Thank you guys for reading and commenting on the review! Teenagelobotomy, I saw your link, well with Overkill you can’t go wrong, fast and powerful as always! Annihilator is a strange creature; in fact, Waters doesn’t have much consistency in genres, he can switch from aggressive thrash metal (like "Betrayed") to acoustic ballads bordering on pop (anyone remember "One" on "All For You"? A record I like) without too many worries, a plus on one side and a downside on the other, as many thrashers have left the Canadian band precisely because of these heavy digressions. However, the latest album has, at least for me, a lot to say and on a guitar level, it’s a blast! Anyway, I need to buy the latest Overkill; it’s really great! Hello everyone and thanks again! Have a nice day.

What a brave reviewer! I must preface that I have never delved into the artist in question, so in my ignorance, I won’t comment on the work. I appreciate when someone ventures into such reviews of acclaimed albums (I repeat, I don’t know if I would agree with the reviewer in this case or not), soundly criticizing them, but with a certain, let’s say, style—certainly irreverent, but not just thrown out there for provocation's sake. Hello everyone and have a good day.
