Jerry Cantrell Degradation Trip
Voto:
this is not a review, it's a reflection on Cantrell's choices...meh. And, with hindsight of course, if "black gives way to blue" is scraping the barrel, well damn, I wish I could scrape that barrel!
David Bowie Reality

I wonder how someone can make an album like that at 60. A masterpiece.
Ringo Starr Old Wave

You usually write beautiful reviews, but I don’t like this one... it seemed a bit too factual and not focused enough on the album itself, which I don’t know, by the way.
The Who The Who By Numbers
Voto:
beautiful album, I give it a 5 because Tommy, Who's Next, and Quadrophenia are a 6. This "By Numbers" is underrated, but there are some absolute gems. I just listened to it again yesterday, and the more I listen to it, the more I like it. Give it a listen.

I wanted to do it myself, but I preferred not to risk giving a bad review. It was the best concert of my life; I had chills during Rooster... unbelievable, I have no words, everything that needed to be said, you said it. I love Cantrell and DuVall.

On @appestato there are also records that are untouchable, yet no one hesitates to review them. It seems more scandalous to me that there are no reviews for these such important books.
Paolo Giordano La solitudine dei numeri primi
Voto:
It's one thing to say that the book is beautiful, and another to say that Giordano is a monster of talent. I really enjoyed the book, but it's too early to judge an author; he has only written this...
J.R.R. Tolkien Il Signore Degli Anelli
