And yes, because while Trompe le Monde and Bossanova keep the Pixies brand strong... a brand, as if they were making cars.

1) In Naples, he’s called Eddy... if in Gorizia or those shitty places where he comes from they call him Edy, it doesn’t matter to anyone in Naples. Here, they call him Eddy. 2) If the review had pissed me off, I would have said so; you know how much I care if you got angry or anything like that. 3) I haven't read it, I just read the first line. 4) Fessacchiotto is something you tell to those you hang out with because they hang out with you. 5) I don’t even know who you are, but you know who I am... if I were you, I’d be worried... it’s strange. 6) I’m not arrogant, I’m just cocky... so cocky that I didn’t even read your review, however short, because life is too short.

But I don't doubt that you say more, better, and blablabla... I haven't had a pissing contest since I realized that length doesn't matter. What counts is the diameter and how you move it... they seem like details, but they aren't. I don't even compete to see who can spit the farthest. I'm going out for a smoke, alright, that's better... goodnight!

Ahah, but who contests you... but who the hell reads your pages? Not me, for sure... I haven't read this one, I'm lacking the raw materials to contest you. And then, do you really think I’m going to contest you? Who the hell are you, Eddy Reja?

The review of Blow'n Chunks is perfect... just like all the others. Don't compare yourself, it's bad for your health. Hang in there, cheer up, I haven't even read your review. It's unlikely that I read reviews from people whose writing I don't like... especially about things I already know. So you're worrying unnecessarily. Take it easy... life is already short.

I knew it, I had to hurry up and do it. I don't know how much the drugs did good for the Flipper... meanwhile, Will Shatter passed away a few months after the release of this record, coincidentally from heroin.
Negazione Tutti Pazzi 1983 - 1992

Musically speaking, which is what really matters, there are many more valid things out there today than back then... today you can't afford to be a pale copy of someone. The only thing is that today the scene is missing, the circuit, all the things surrounding music... but the Italian underground music is in a better state than it was back then, it’s just much more underground.

With "Beyond," they gave the clueless audience the calling card to remind them that they were once the greatest. With "Farm," J picked up where he left off in his solo career. Much more genuine... they've made their trade albums, and they suck; they can't be themselves and also be serious people. I believe that Black Francis & Co. will do everything except listen to it. They've never gotten over not being even my band from Massachusetts... back then, let alone today.

Italian Hardcore is folklore and nothing else. Musically equal to zero, with bands lagging 5/6 years behind their American and English counterparts, from whom they stole style and tracks. The only ones with a truly personal style are Indigesti, a style that, however, remains indigestible... the others are non-alcoholic beer or at best warm. Respect for the people who made up that scene and for the struggle in the midst of the Italian 80s, which must have been some really shitty years, and for everything else... but the music? The music doesn’t exist. Ah, I find Negazione pretty disgusting.

Final review at Mastroianni's of Splendor :) I don't know them yet, but not for long.
