Chiul... I like it. It made me dust off the iPod after quite some time.

Look Lux, I don't consider you a Scaruffiano. I wasn't referring to you. You won't believe it, but there are thousands of people doing the same things as Scaruffi. Just take a look at Debaser... they appear and then disappear because here everyone can tell you to fuck off, and those who fill their chests with nothing really feel it when they get told to fuck off. Take someone like philosopho... the idiot who reviewed Vs by Burma. Well, not only does he only review records from Scaruffi's 8 onwards, but with the same content and the same bullshit... and on top of that, he makes ridiculous rankings. On RYM, they have a ranking of PHILOSOPHERS!!!!!! See, they exist... they are a cult, they're crazier than Scientology... they're the Scaruffini. But they are there.

On his website, it also says that he listens to albums just once, ONLY once, ONLY ONCE, ONLY ONE TIME. This makes him ridiculous and those who give him any importance even more so. Scaruffi fails to appreciate what he listens to. Scaruffi makes what he listens to ridiculous because ridiculous, because capable of silly little criticisms (but how many damn times does he repeat "post-industrial delirium"? Pretty much in every album he likes), because superficial. Scaruffi is ridiculous, but even more ridiculous are those who listen to him. It's incredible how people can be like goats and how, like goats, they need a shepherd, choosing as their shepherd the first one who comes along speaking with a confident tone (confident as a fool)... whether this shepherd is God, Scaruffi, or a Fitness course makes no difference. Just goats.

Well... I appreciate what I appreciate because it communicates something to me, it entertains me, it depresses me, it makes me travel. You could say, "so what, you might like Laura Pausini too"... Sure, I might, but it doesn’t happen. And I don’t think it’s an issue of objective beauty. I believe it’s a matter of culture, understood as the journey one undertakes. Then I believe that the only objective thing that exists is that there’s nothing objective.

Honestly, I can't find a single reason to involve Scaruffi & Co. ...it doesn’t seem like they are either rich or sleeping with Megan Fox, nor do they possess any culture worth envying. On the contrary, the people who have to assess, who strain their brains to say something intelligent without even being able to, or who still believe in some objective standard, as if we were in the third century BC, evoke nothing in me beyond pity. Certainly, Scaruffi is a poor guy, and someone who envies a poor guy is at an even lower level than the poor guy himself... and so what? One can envy Ferruccio Parri, not Scaruffi. And come on, we're not that badly off.

"The hate expressed on this site towards Scaruffi and Ondarock only lowers the credibility of Deaser." Sorry brat, but that's not true. It's not true because the hate directed at Scaruffi or Ondarock is not driven by an editorial line. The disdain for Scaruffi or Ondarock is voiced by those on Debaser just like any other opinion. As far as I'm concerned, I can't stand Ondarock and Scaruffi both when I'm on Debaser and when I'm having a beer with a friend. If my friend asks me what I think of Scaruffi, I tell him he’s garbage... does that take away from the credibility of our discussion? Furthermore, I don’t believe that Debaser has any credibility, and it’s precisely its lack of any pursuit of credibility that makes it credible... unlike Scaruffi and Ondarock.
