No, you're not mistaken; if you think about parameters, you're correct... I don't think about them. I believe parameters don't exist. Very simply, Bossanova makes me feel much less good than the previous two. That's how I reason, and I'm willing to understand that other people think differently, but I don't have parameters, I don't believe in any objectivity and all that boring stuff that I would have to repeat now, but you already get it :) Then, sure, I can rationalize and tell you that I like Bossanova a lot less because it represents a forced distinction from the past, but fundamentally, it always makes me feel worse than Doolittle and Surfer Rosa.
