Congratulations, I haven't read such a statement of nonsense in a long time. I mean, you really took him seriously, did you? Trust me, someone from the INPS will pass by now.

If you need someone serious - forget about Brad Pitt - to remind you that you are not what you own, go here 1, to all things related to Palhaniuk - or however the hell you spell it - you put 1.
Ornette Coleman This Is Our Music

this album, among all those I've listened to by Ornette, is the one I like the least. actually, I almost don’t like it at all. I can’t even explain it, I just know that it doesn’t resonate with me, that it almost bores me, that between Blues Connotation and Poise I feel an incredible void. and I haven’t approached it lightly; I’ve been going back to it since July, since the day it was given to me (July 4th, to be precise). today it’s brilliant, I’m in the right psycho-physical conditions, I’m trying again, today I like it and it still doesn’t resonate with me, almost always worse. bah. anyway, not to be a know-it-all, but between this and The Shape there's Change of the Century. arrevuar!

So, to sum it up, Geenoo is the kind of guy who gets off on Margherita Hack. Pervert.

I wholeheartedly agree with Miles' comment 15. This musical nationalism à la Rockit is the most crass thing out there. First of all, because it ends up kissing the hands of Manuel Agnelli, the Maurizio Costanzo of Italian alternativity, who on the San Remo stage erased the original sin of musical autarchy; then because if these guys were from Antwerp - I love it too, along with all of Flanders, beautiful places - it would be the same thing and they would make exquisite music just the same. Like in that film with Nanni Moretti and Silvio Orlando, the title of which I can't remember, where Orlando plays a professor in love with his work who can't hold back and says something like, "What are we studying this latrine by Manzoni for, when in 40 years he rewrote the same thing, while Dostoevsky wrote eight absolute masterpieces?" ...and there you go, it's the same. Also because Italian music, except for significant exceptions... bleah,

Geb, you see, the speech is long. I recommend a book, actually, a chapter from Sex and Character by Otto Weininger - quite a character - where he explains the reasons for his "antisemitism" - it's worth noting that Weininger was Jewish. Well, he called himself an antisemite because he found the ugliest part of humanity disgusting, the rational part that focuses on utility, that has no passions, never convinced of anything, always ready to say "never say never," with no ontology, and he referred to that part as "Jewish," which didn't necessarily indicate a Jew, because there are Jews who are not circumcised. Nowadays, it's like everyone is. Then, regarding Birkenau, I really couldn't care less. Just consider that I respond like Malcolm X did regarding Kennedy's assassination. I’m interested in the concentration camps made for the southerners. Nothing else. Anyway, let’s not talk about that... if we have to talk, let’s talk about the Omega Squad, it seems nobody pays attention to them - there isn’t even a review, at least until some time ago. Let’s talk about the good Italian guys, not Lucio. There you go, vinyl is too expensive. You have to print it, you need to redo the mastering for vinyl, it’s a hassle. The new frontier - the next one - is the minidisc, 3" CDs. Nice.
Giorgio Gaber Io se fossi Dio

Hey there, Gaber doesn't budge from the proverbial bad luck of appealing - especially - to those who belong to the subgroup of humanity he hates the most. A beautiful text with a very clear quote, or rather, it could be said that, broadening the discussion, it's all a quote from an outdated human philosophy that fortunately has nothing democratic, bourgeois, or mediocre about it. Like an essay on God's perspective in the view of two or three interested and interesting guys. So: what the hell is he doing in Enbargo's mouth!?!
