Giuseppe Tornatore Baarìa

Of course, with Battiato on the music and Tornatore directing, mediocrity is almost guaranteed. I don't know, we'll see.

Before "I Cento Passi," Impastato was remembered as just any terrorist who, mad, blew himself up on the tracks. A film changed the perception of a man who did not use the "word," with a very small radio, but tiny, compared to Debaser, RAI was so troubling to the Mafia that it "forced" them to kill him.

Wow, we've found a new one. Let's cherish it because it will give us great satisfaction. If African Americans hadn't sung about slavery, today there would be no Blues and we would still be tearing our hair out over Mozart. People have to sing and must be driven by what they feel the urge to sing, always. Joy!

You may have listened to millions, but you haven't heard a single one. If you hear (not just listen to) what the CoSang are saying, you shudder, because they are so involved that they no longer even feel disgust. They didn't make a record against the Camorra; they made a record about how two guys live in Marianella (go read the link in comment number 2, maybe listen to them). These may be serious problems, but they are the norm for many people. Here, they made a record about normalcy in a world "where sport is killing." Then "these singers" may be as you say, but not the CoSang. There's no rhetoric, nothing but so much "normality," and surely they do not exploit "normality" to sell. Do what you want with your opinions; who cares. In fact, I find other people's opinions quite disgusting. I prefer my own.

These singers are the poor people who should be helped. They are the poor souls walking through Marianella who can do nothing but live in a place where there’s no alternative. These singers (who, by the way, "these singers" sounds offensive, like when they refer to Saviano as "this writer") exist to tell stories; they step out of their homes, they see, and then they narrate. What should they do? Talk about pussy and coke, make money, and start an association for the victims of the "Camorra"? We are all victims, and none of us are. They talk about themselves, and that’s what an artist should do. If you don't like the artists, then what the hell are you doing on Debaser? And anyway, shouldn't you be putting in some effort? The road is long; don't stop.

No, I only hassle those who can't handle the confrontation. It’s not me who bothers them, it’s them who break their own balls. In fact, it's the confrontation that breaks them. A cast e cast, e se rispett!

Here, now I'm pissing on your head: "chi more pe' mme" means someone who feels bad for me, someone who is pining for me. If I say "that woman more pe' mme," it means that woman craves me, desires me, suffers for me, and consequently loves me. Have you ever read a romantic German? It's the same thing; love is suffering, and Neapolitans, with this taste for excess, starting from tantrums, are very romantic-German-like. If I say "Troisi me fa muri," it means that it's not like Troisi is killing me (God forbid), but that I like him so much it makes me feel like I'm dying. It's a play on hyperboles. It's used for everything, from mozzarella to Napoli soccer. If something bothers us, we Neapolitans say, for example, "Sti sciem m'accirn" ;)
Then, after the nonsense you said, if you were Neapolitan, I would recommend a couple of places for you to hide away in shame. Is this explanation enough, or do you want me to crap on you as well?
