Blur No Distance Left To Run

I don't understand why I'm wrong and why I should have avoided it. It's a matter of opinions: you have yours, I have mine. I don't even find them disgusting, musically speaking. I just find them very mediocre; there are worse and much better out there. As for them not being interesting people, of course, everyone has their own standards; it's always a matter of perspective. But they are still musicians—mediocre ones, by the way—and I used the term musicians, not artists, especially since there's even less art than interesting people, not to mention anyone special. The film is very well made, that's objective, but do you know how many well-made things are not interesting? Plenty! :) Bye.

Here is Kosmo; if someone gives it to you as a gift, okay, but spending money on it isn't a great idea. I saw it not long ago; it's true I was particularly tired, but it left me with the impression of a rather uninteresting documentary because it focuses on rather uninteresting people. There are a few funny moments, like when Albarn, during the American tour, says, "this song is about people living on an island... not like you (as if there's something to be proud of about being English!?! ...but it made me smile)," then it goes dark, with the drummer who got lucky because he would have made an excellent postal worker, with that face. Better to stick with the DVD of the concert; at least they don’t talk.

no no, but what a recommendation. I have it, but on a miserable CD (hehe, it was a gift)... but I've redeemed myself by getting Bitches Brew on vinyl. it's so beautiful that it can't be looked at. maybe my favorite cover.

Yeasayer? nice name, I wonder what they do :) last year's compilation is beautiful, but even more beautiful is the one before, released in the Etiopiques series. Number 4 is great, and I also recommend number 5 where you can find the entire Ere Mela Mela by Mahmoud Ahmed. If I could, I would get them all, and I believe that one day I will... if the superenalotto allows it. Oh, keep an eye out because the new album by Mulatu is coming out, which I've also listened to, albeit superficially; there are no Heliocentrics in it, and I must say it disappointed me a bit. But it could be a good opportunity to see him live, and I need to listen to it more carefully. Hey, when are you getting into jazz-afro-psychedelic?

beautiful straight, I'll look for it soon as possible. with your permission, I recommend a record to you, still psychedelic from the '60s, maybe a bit late for cultural reasons (just ten years, what does it matter), but who cares, right!?! :) ...comes from Nigeria (the music, the label is English), stuff that makes you drool, I got lost in it. Cool comment from macaco. First, he annoys everyone with "superficiali, credere, spiriti, don't believe in spirits because you're superficial" and then he comes out with a super superficial and cool "deliri di un uomo perso e senza Dio." It's either stuff from a handicapped person or the utmost superficiality, and thus handicapped. Cool debaser, it reconciles you with loneliness: you know that at any given moment someone is saying some mega-bullshit, and just considering the Italian, so it's better to be alone, maybe in the company of a nice book... spirits allowing.

Fedezan, if someone wants to say something, they can do nothing but generalize. If you consider without generalizing, you abstract a particular from the general. Assumptions, and in the end, under the threat of generalizing, you say nothing. I generalize. I have a ton of inherited "progressive" records, original press vinyl. Yes, Genesis and several others. Many others, unfortunately. Well, without fearing generalization: they are crap. They are mediocrity, regressive at best. Stuff to make you believe that at that precise moment you are making a leap forward, stuff made to make the simpleton believe that music can be art. In the same years there were Can, Faust, Amon Duul, and many others. People who couldn’t care less about sounding "complex" and "layered," people who actually took music to the next step. And if you talk to the average progster, they’ll tell you that Can and company are too simple. Of course, it's genuine, but someone who responds like that is a genuine asshole. King Crimson is one of my favorite bands. They made some "regressive" albums like "Island" and "Lizard," but Fripp stopped, thought about it, and created "Red," "Larks' Tongues in Aspic," and "Starless and Bible Black" which are truly "progressive," yet excite progsters less. At least, that's what they say. King Crimson is truly "progressive," unlike much of what is commonly understood as "progressive." Of course, not everything, and these are my considerations. I don't read tarot cards, and I don't have a crystal ball either.

Let's not joke about Maradona, or I'll turn into a beast! Of course, I'm talking about that mess of a Juve, which, along with the rest of the team, is in the running for first place in the "most ridiculous team of all time, since Adam and Eve" competition against the current Milan fielding Antonini-Abbate on the wings. It's enough to make you shit yourself with fear a year in advance.
