ahoh, are you kidding me!?! No one talk about the Italian Republic in front of me... and since such a pompous statement deserves a good prot, I’ll do it myself because otherwise, nobody will collect it. Here it is: PPPPPRRRRROOOOT!

Yeah, pretty gggiovane... with three "g"s though, otherwise they'll catch you right away as an intruder :) hey, Dinosaur Jr, Pavement, Sebadoh: Maradona, Giordano, Careca and I’m not going to a desert island without Bug and Bakesale. seriously, between liking Wavves, Vivian, Blank Dogs (which I also like) and Male Bonding (look them up, you might actually like them... compared to the crowd, they can actually play) there's a wide gap like Rocco Siffredi going the wrong way. it’s not you who’s old. it’s just that you’re not old enough, and that’s why you hear it :) anyway, we can dispel any doubts: if Paloz says it rocks, then it must really suck. Darkeve, as far as I’m concerned the new Melvins (I say this with difficulty) is a piece of crap. usually, you can find all the Ipecac albums a few months early online. take a look around, and if you can't find it, send me a private message. Cheers.

here, King Cobra is a beautiful thing. maybe on a casual listen it stands out less than a Blind Man or And What If I Don't, but in the long run it earns its utmost respect. actually, I go crazy for all these, but King Cobra has, besides its beauty, also the charm. plus, in King Cobra there's the solo by Grachan Moncur III. eh! that says it all.

Haha, great question Jargon, I've been wondering about it too for a while. "Locena" with an "e", in Neapolitan, means whore or bitch, anyway a woman of easy virtues and it’s always an insult. If you go to the butcher, though, in places really from another time, from other centuries, they give you some meat that I couldn't explain what beast it's from... What I’ve always wondered is why in my neighborhood "locena" becomes "locina" with an "i", especially since it sounds better with an "e". Hey, I have to run, have a good day.

I like the review. I don't know the album, but I'll give it some thought... well, My Point of View, even though it doesn't completely convince me/capture me, has some very strong tracks; it might lack in flow, in the succession of the songs, but it has some incredibly polished "singles." Anyway, I like Hancock... he's a charmer, in my opinion, and that's why I like him.

beautiful, good. I only read Fontamara by Silone, which is really a beautiful book. I never went further, but who knows...

great question Madcat... because I'm also interested in the answer :) along those lines, I recommend "Sextant" by Hancock, which I think is beautiful, then I'm not sure: let's wait hopefully for someone to come by. great review, by the way. oh, if you're interested in psychedelic Jazz, but not electric, "Thembi" by Sanders comes to mind as well.

perhaps the film I've watched the most, enriched by Hoffman playing the fool (that's the role he deserves). I've always wanted to read the book, but I've never done it... this is the right time.

Well, I don't know, and you've definitely piqued my curiosity. Now the search begins... I imagine it's quite a task.
