Evil radish! You like the guitar, yes, but from behind... ;D
Explosions In The Sky The Rescue

I will try, since I prefer more straightforward post-rock, like GIAA and Mogwai, to be clear. The only album of theirs I know is "The Earth Is Not a Cold Dead Place," which, however, didn’t really excite me.

I confess that ELP doesn't excite me either, while regarding Le Orme, I consider "Collage" and "Felona e Sorona" among the best works of Italian prog. Quatermass and Atomic Rooster are albums that cannot be missed by any enthusiast of the genre. Of course, I generally prefer full bands with guitar, but there are bands that have managed to do without it and with excellent results.

For comment number 1, I recommend listening to the self-titled debuts of Quatermass and Atomic Rooster (only mentioning EL&P would be obvious), or if we want to stick to Italian prog, the Trip (the ones from "Atlantide"). As for the reviewed album, I don't know it and I'll make a note of it. Good review.

I am perplexed. Rather than mourn the dismantling of a ship, no matter how historically significant, I would weep for those poor souls who will do it for a pittance in inhumane conditions, in defiance of laws and international treaties.
Valerio Massimo Manfredi L'Ultima Legione
Voto:
I agree about the movie, which is truly an abomination (actress aside), but the book is not bad at all. I like how Manfredi writes; I particularly recommend the Alexandros trilogy and Il tiranno.

Strange that you hadn't come by here before. Very beautiful record and "Cause we've ended as lovers" is pure orgasm.

Maybe Madame just needs a break. And besides, she already has the debaser in her veins. For me, she returns.

I recommended the Quatermass to you, which you have already listened to. And then: Raw Material "Time is...", Gracious "This is... Gracious!", Tonton Macoute (self-titled), Gravy Train "(A ballad of) A Peaceful Man, Lucifer's Friend "Banquet", Spring (self-titled).
