Fiquata, as you say "de gustibus". Everyone has their own preferences. I remind you that you were the one who claimed the mediocrity of Pearl Jam or Layne Staley. I felt it was important to highlight that your praised Cobain was the icon of that mediocrity. I did not pass any musical judgments. After all, I love Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, and Pearl Jam. I like Nirvana a bit less, but as I said before, they don't disgust me.

Well, you see, in the end, you’re just generalizing. You listen to King Crimson and claim to denigrate progressive music. "Regressive," you say... Just like in all genres, there are highs and lows. Innovators and copycats. And sometimes the line between the two is quite blurry. In any case, I believe that playing an instrument well can only enhance the music a band proposes. Of course, the risk is always of overdoing it, and that’s where you measure the artistic worth of the musician. As for "Jeff better than Tim," that’s a distortion made by others, without reading the contents of the discussion. Probably the Italian language presents some difficulties for certain people. But these are two very valid artists. As for Cobain, I echo what has already been stated by Panico.

Dear my fiquata, what does it mean that I've turned to progressive? If you look at my reviews, I'm much more varied than you think. But probably not knowing, you try to generalize. I've been listening to music for over twenty years, including progressive. Of course, on this site there were many more gaps in this genre compared to others, so I took the opportunity to fill some of them. If I had followed my preferences, I would have created duplicates, and for now, I’m not interested in doing that. As for Cobain, it's not that I dislike him, but he is indeed mediocre. He hasn't done anything particularly brilliant except for one wonderful song that gave him excessive media visibility.

@sonart: you’re quite the joker! The Wanna Marchi of our time. @fiquata: you hate mediocrity and praise Kurt Cobain? Something doesn’t add up. Your whole life is Pearl Jam and Alice in Chains.

As Hal, I remember this film as one of the most boring I've ever seen.

I, on the other hand, agree with the reviewer’s assessment of this album. From my point of view, however, "Perfect Symmetry" is the true masterpiece of the band. "A Pleasant Shade of Gray," while still a great work, is slightly inferior in my opinion.

I'm glad you dream, did you find the remastered version or the original one?

Well, it’s clear that in the AOR genre I have different tastes from other debasers. For me, this album and "Go!" by Fair Warning are among the best AOR offerings of the 90s. Fortunately, I am at least comforted by the industry critics who share my view.

Great Anatas! The Great Whites are wonderful. And not just for their works. They made a cover album of the Zeppelins that is a fabulous thing (Great Zeppelin). And I hate covers of my favorite band. I have Cinderella's Night Songs and Long Cold Winter, which are very, very beautiful.
