Winger In the Heart of the Young

Hi Core! As usual, I'm stopping by to say hello, and considering the number of your reviews, I probably greet you more than my wife. ;D I'm not a big fan of Winger, but the review, as always, is very good. Maybe the tones are just a bit too enthusiastic. After all, they're not exactly Zeppelin! (now I think the Who fans will come and tear me apart...) ;D

I fully quote Il Dandi (man: we have Il Freddo, Il Dandi... we just need Il Libanese). For me, "Pyromania" is their best album.

@DLF: I understood what you meant. For both Canterbury sound and jazz rock, I prefer things that are a bit more accessible, like Camel or Colosseum, to give an example, while I just can't digest Soft Machine. Can you believe that I can't even appreciate Bitches Brew or Spectrum much? But I don't rule out the possibility of eventually coming to like these sounds over time. I often find myself modifying or expanding my listening habits. Now that you mention it, it's been a while since I listened to "Arise" by Sepultura... ;D

@DLF: oh dear DLF, leave a bit of healthy ignorance for me too! Anyway, I confess I'm not a big fan of the Canterbury sound and even less of pure jazz. Jazz rock, on the other hand, definitely falls within my preferences. All in all, I don't rule anything out a priori, so I will surely seek out this work sooner or later. The mentioned names are of the highest caliber.

My favorite hard rock band of the 80s! This debut album is really good, just like all the works produced by Def Leppard in that decade. Well done, great choice and good review.

Excellent and refined review, as always. Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with the album.

Touching and truly well-written review. To be honest, the album doesn't excite me, even though it is considered one of the masterpieces of AOR. I would like to remind you that throwing objects out of the window is prohibited. ;D

I told you that you're twisted :D

@panzone: it's the second time you've written "propio". It’s spelled "proprio". Just for the record.

In the end, I guess I'm from '70 and not '69. ;D
