Jimmy Page & Robert Plant Walking Into Clarksdale
Voto:
I agree with the overall judgment of the album, but not with the assessment of the individual songs. "Heart in your hand" and "Walking into Clarksdale" are, in my opinion, among the best of this work. Unlike the solo works, I believe that Page here offers something more than Plant.

@DLF: you pointed out a mistake in my review. Indeed, the ballad is called "What's come to be" and not "Once on a Windy Day" as I wrote. Mea culpa. Unfortunately, I don't have the original and I must have mixed things up a bit. As for the rest, the noisy intro reminded me more of Pink Floyd, to be honest. Anyway, ultimately what I mean to say is that I don't feel this strong influence of King Crimson. @roby: thanks for the mention, and if you liked the first one, you can definitely go for it!

Your nickname is twisted and ungrammatical, just like you. I don't feel like counting how many n's or how many z's there are. Just be satisfied.

Panzone, there you go, shoveling shit is the right job for you. To say that you don’t like this album would have been an acceptable comment. It’s that 1 you gave to the work that seems to me a decidedly unbalanced judgment. And thus your classic judgment.

@dlf: I’ve read elsewhere about the influence of King Crimson, though I don’t really feel it except in the ballad of the album. @macaco: obrigado. Always welcome. @panzone: among the crap you’ve thrown around so far, this is the biggest.

Remarkable review, despite the mistakes in the titles (heh heh), for an equally remarkable album. Don’t take my 4 stars into account, which is mainly due to my personal issue with female voices. In fact, this is an album to own, for anyone.

The album is beautiful and its atmospheres are captivating. There are no weak songs, but perhaps it does feel a bit repetitive in the long run. However, I always enjoy listening to it.

I thank everyone for being here. In my small way, I try to bring to light some works forgotten by many. I see, however, that this group is already known to many of you, and I am pleased about that.

Hello Fiero! Even though you're a Juventus fan, you still remain great. Impeccable review. I see you've softened up a bit. Only 10 songs, and they're all 3 minutes long. "Mid tempo with some double kick bursts." The lyrics, however, seem truly inspired. Long live you, o king of grind!

I hadn't listened to it in a while. This is a good album, and the vocal harmonies between Wetton and Chapman are truly beautiful. Wonderful "Spanish Tide." Compliments for the review.
