Come on, Schizo, these aren’t reprimands, because if they were, we’d tell you much worse... ;D Anyway, I repeat, it’s a matter of taste. I have no problem telling you that post-rock in general doesn’t excite me or, as you say, bores me. So it’s clear that we have a different musical sensitivity.

Mine are Landberk, Anglagard, Anekdoten. The former are objectively less technical and elaborate, but I love the intimacy and the sounds they manage to create.

The Anglagard are already more complicated, hard to assimilate, so we can overlook certain considerations. For me, they are truly great, although I must say that over time my preferences have shifted towards Landberk. "One man tell's another" and "Indian summer" are pure emotion in music for me.

@prog: I don’t know if you understood where I was trying to go with this. There’s nothing wrong with saying that an album isn’t your cup of tea. Or acknowledging that a voice is definitely terrible. In this case, the latter assumption isn’t exactly acceptable. The voice of the Kvazar singer isn’t that of a Robert Plant, but it’s not as bad as some would like to believe. In some tracks, there are guests from the opera world singing or adding vocalizations. Maybe these are precisely the ones that could be “annoying.” Ultimately, it’s not personal tastes that I contest, but the terms used by commentators. Everyone's preferences are equally respectable.

And sorry schizoid, but what are the sounds that excite you in post rock?

The comparison to Pink Floyd can be made in a couple of songs (but not to those from "wish you were here"). For the rest, the album is definitely more varied. I don't see the vocal parts as an added value either, but I find them perfectly suited to the music presented. Not at all irritating as schizoid says. That's my rating, but it's clear that there are five heavier stars than this.

Oh my God, what a review... always with a cock in your mouth... probably the best album from the sound garden. Even though I remain particularly fond of "Badmotorfinger."
