What can I say that I haven't already said? Nothing. A beautiful review as always, original and heartfelt. I've listened to something from the album now on YouTube, but it doesn't grab me that much.

@anders: I'm not exactly a fan of Gov't Mule. I obviously like them, but only to a certain extent. But if it interests you, the album in question is much more varied than the first two. @teenage: I'm Chicago on the Bulls! :D @schizoid: hey, don’t come leaving loffe here, you know?

Hi bella_bartok, mine is certainly not a controversy. I respect your tastes, but I wouldn't want potential buyers of the album to misunderstand the proposal. Because those who expect rough and dirty southern rock will likely be disappointed by this album. That's why I want to point out that that term is unsuitable. By the way, I saw you voted for the work too; are you sure you’re not mistaken?

Aside from the fact that I share your final judgment, in this specific album this "dirt" is rather contained. And for those who assert the opposite, they can (re)listen to "Sco-mule" in particular, but also "Banks of the Deep End," "Beautifully Broken," or "Soulshine." Then we'll talk about it again...

@core: thanks as usual. But let me ask you a curiosity: why “burini”? If I had to use an adjective for this album, that one would certainly be excluded. But maybe I didn’t understand the meaning. Anyway, I’ll get back to your review later, as I want to read it carefully. @geb: I think the Boston (team) sucks just as much as the L.A., so I’d say: PROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!

Thanks everyone for the recommendation. @geb: this is their album that I like the most, the most diverse and least strictly "southern rock". Just the names I've mentioned should encourage you to give it a listen (and I've forgotten just as many). If you're looking for something harder, there's the self-titled first album. Just for your info, Gov't Mule are former members of the Allman Brothers, as well as exceptional musicians. Lastly, I like the NBA and of course I follow Toronto. But to give you a little grief, I confess I have a soft spot for Kobe (and who doesn't...).
