A lawyer has just opened an office in Rome; it’s his first day at work, and before entering his new office, he tells the caretaker: "If a client comes, please let me know before they come up!” “Alright, don’t worry.” After a while, the intercom buzzes; it’s the caretaker: “Sir, someone is coming up for you.” So the lawyer cracks the door open, positions himself behind the desk, and pretends to be on the phone to appear busy and important. The person enters, and he gestures with his hand for them to take a seat, meanwhile talking about resolved cases with an imaginary friend and dragging on the conversation to impress the potential client about his capabilities. After a couple of minutes, he concludes the call by saying: “I have to say goodbye now because I have someone here, we’ll talk again... let me know about that case; I’ll take care of everything like the other times…” Then, hanging up the receiver, he turns to the person and asks: “Please, tell me how I can assist you.” “Sir… I’m the Telecom technician, I came to connect the phone…”

@core: thanks for the stop. @fosca: you’re not objective about the Duke! :D Anyway, that "alas" I think implies that I like Bowie. It's just that the cover in question really doesn't do it justice and, indeed, dampens the wonderful melodic line. Thanks for the visit. :D

I love the Zeppas; they’re probably my favorite band, and this review is very well done. But, as I’ve mentioned elsewhere, "Hats Off to Roy Harper" sucks for me and ruins what could have been their best album. Unlike Nicola up there, for me "Since I've Been Loving You" is absolutely the most beautiful song by the Zeppelin. As we say around here, "da sborarse dòs." Here’s a dedication for you
