Berlin is Reed's masterpiece for me as well.

This is the Sorrentino film I love the most. Unforgettable, with a monumental Servillo who even acts with his back turned. In the scene with the hotel manager, he's stunning. And love has nothing to do with it; it's the semblance of it that drives one to prefer a thrilling ending, in which, as you say, he finds spiritual salvation. And the soundtrack! Lali Puna and Boards of Canada leading the way. In the second part, it slows down a bit, but I can't give it less than a 5, no, I can't. Kudos to you for the review and for the choice. And also to Bondi for the ignorance.

Mmmm...great review, you don’t get lost in chatter and hit the nail on the head right away. I completely agree: when I saw it, most people around me were roaring with laughter, while I laughed bitterly. I couldn’t help but think that outside that room, reality was surpassing fiction. And regarding "I Mostri", it’s unsettling to realize how relevant it still is today, almost 50 years later... "It’s no longer called Parliament, but Pappamento."

Nice review. Like the cover, it has a very Ramones vibe, for sure. :) Definitely their best.

I must admit that the '90s brought some satisfaction even to a '77 fanatic like me, Turks at the forefront. I don't know them, but the cover isn't new to me... anyway, what little I can listen to now on YouTube I quite like. Nice and talented, that Gnagnera.
