Without these (which deserve the title, not too well-liked, of "classics"), you can't understand the American underground of the '80s and, therefore, the '90s. My favorite of the three is Over the Edge... Lately, I've also been digging into the later albums (Follow the Blind, Circle, Land of the Lost) and I must say they have evolved in a coherent and, for me, surprising way, without losing their shine. I'm missing the last piece: Sage solo...
