Never said we were "innovative," whatever that means. What really gets on my nerves is you coming in and saying we're a "mediocre" group in the name of some supposed superiority of another artist (Zappa), you got it or do you want me to draw a diagram? They are two separate realms. Then, it's up to you and me to choose which one we like more. But you can't make bullshit comparisons like "Zappa > Nirvana" in such an absolute and peremptory way. Oh, and change your underwear or you won't be catching anything anymore.

What a lightning response! Basically, you've convinced us that Nirvana are worse than Zappa, wow! Do one thing... Find yourself another little buddy à la Gixone ;)

Just a barely sufficient group? For you. You're mixing your musical tastes (subjective) with your demands to prove the objective influence and non-influence. Well done.

Well, I don't know a damn thing about Zappa, and you've never seen me talk about Zappa. Giusty (I'm giving a random example) doesn't know a thing about Nirvana, the bands that influenced them, and the bands that were influenced, but he talks. That's the difference in approach. Bai bai

Muffin, you're talking about your music. I've lost from the start. Hasta la vista @Giusty, no, I'm not starting over because I don't want to talk to either slowpokes or people without any understanding (it seems like your description fits). Kisses kisses.

But I don't understand why the Zappa-fanatics and the proggabbestia always have to proclaim everywhere that any other group that doesn’t possess a minimum of technical skill and/or experimental research is a group of crap or, as in this case, at best, "mediocre"? You're not talking about your cup of tea, so don't spew bullshit judgments. I won't list the so-called "historical" and objective "merits" (I'm not talking about personal tastes) because it would be like throwing gasoline on the fire. A group "without infamy and without praise"? What a load of crap.

Well, I don't know about you, but I've managed to gain a sort of self-control even with an ADSL connection at hand. As for the rest, I really have very few CDs (about thirty), mostly I try to gather cassettes and vinyl records, which are the only formats that trigger that fetishistic pleasure in me. I don't know, I've never had a good relationship with CDs; I used to receive burned ones of all kinds, and when I bought a CD, it felt like I was throwing money away because I had the same quality I could get for free. Now I either buy vinyl or I don't buy at all.
