Mastodon might have missed the mark with the latest one, but the first three, especially when compared to the contemporary metal scene, are phenomenal.

Some of my friends went to Milan the day before, but the lineup was far better than what they told me. Then again, I don’t understand how one can get “warmed up” with Lamb of God and not with Mastodon, who are one of the few decent metal bands of the latest generation, and on this tour they’ve been treated like dogs, playing for the first 20 minutes with a community center-level soundcheck…

Dude, you’re only missing "Welcome to Sky Valley" by Kyuss, Sleep, Wizard, Acrimony, Los Natas, Orange Goblin, and dozens of bands all different from each other.

Gabri, as a jester, is the best we could find. Officially recruit him! :)

Well, I can recognize the importance of the Pixies (less than other contemporaries of the period though), but they bore me to tears. Now we're waiting for the Inquisitors :) Ah Federì, the review isn't bad, but follow the discussion and change the subject a bit next time :)

Alexander, you’re right. But up here on debaser with the Dream Theater, thanks to some overly enthusiastic fans, it’s like this: take it or leave it. I don’t know what to tell you.

It’s not difficult. On DeBaser there are 100 (and more) reviews of Dream Theater, therefore (beyond personal tastes) users are fed up. The reviewer, aware of these numbers (and math is not an opinion), knows perfectly well the situation. Do they want to write a review about Dream Theater? No one can stop them from doing so and no one can prevent its publication. Well, no one, however, prevents other users with frayed nerves from not taking the one-hundred-twelfth review of the Theater of Dreams seriously. That's just how it is. There's no need to jabber on complaining about the lack of seriousness of the commentators and other things that make no sense at all, given the situation I summarized above.

I don't know him, but I'll try to redeem myself. Truly a beautiful page.
