<< always super fast and sharp guitars, always the same exhilarating noise, "deadly accelerations" (even highlighted in bold)... always the same old tune. a genre of music that I will never understand. >> Try again. Make us laugh, never forget that.

Pixies - cool, I just added the emphasis to refute Giusty's thesis that all punk (more than 30 years of music, not much, right?) is a bunch of brain-dead anarchoid sloths who can only play three chords, which is not only dull and simplistic but also false. And I would also add that music is not just music; so if Miles Davis had released on SST, he would have been an hardcore guy in every sense but was still playing Jazz (and that's not such a crazy picture), cool, right? Alright, I digress. Thank you for the compliments, bye.

Really useful comment 61. You can’t reply to Bisius without posting that link (by the way, from an idiot who was wasting his time defaming a DeBaser user - virtual life can be really harmful sometimes - and who disappeared after just 2 reviews). There’s always a connection among you sub-humans. You’re touching. :)

Giusty, Naked City and Painkiller? Even John Zorn would give you an earful. And Saccharine Trust played jazz, but they were all part of the hardcore scene. You know too much - too much! - little to come up with judgments. Then it’s funny how you perceive Jazz, which is the most dynamic and multifaceted music genre. If Miles Davis had released an album on SST, he would’ve done hardcore too. Again, again! Encore, encore! It makes me laugh!!!

Damn, who have you reeled in, Sir Lord Baltimore, perhaps the heaviest band of that time. In any case, getting back to the point, I support generalizations but they must first of all make sense. If Kyuss are "Alfonso," Orange Goblin are not. If Mudhoney are "Mario," Alice in Chains are not. Then, you can generalize about anything and everything, but let's just not create semi-oxymorons because otherwise the words used by convention lose their original usefulness. One last thing, in my opinion, an etymological interpretation cannot be "personal." "Stoned" means exactly that and nothing else, the term "stoner" (which, by the way, some heavy-psych bands straddling the 60s and 70s used the word "stoner" is coincidental. There was no intention of institutionalizing a genre) began to be used in reference to that (the marijuana trip) and to Palm Desert (but if you prove me wrong, I'll take it all back). The whole world started doing it, not just me. You just have to come to an agreement and then the words work.

I would always sign for a six and a half. That's fine as it is.

<< What's yours? >> But if they wrote to you, with a certain patience I imagine, three other comments above full of information about the artist in question? Video games are harmful to insight.
