Nonetheless, even though I've grown up in completely different places, I still believe that the Sixties are without a doubt the rock period with the most quality as well as quantity... Records upon records in an almost infinite chain. I'll mark these down too! If the good Supersoul passes by, I wanted to ask him if he could give me some information about the English (?) Rustic Hinge, which I read in his review of Magic Muscle were trying to combine psychedelic rock with classical avant-garde... Very interesting! :) Great page, you can never read enough of it..

But trashy in a good way, actually, a really good way... I don't know how you guys mean it, cicianebbia, not trashy in the Quartoggiaro sense, you know. :) Anyway, Maurè, you have a private message!

For me, it’s not a full 5. I’m just being a pain in the ass, you know. :)

Finally seen. I must say that, although I didn't start with the highest expectations for Quentin's latest releases, I liked it. However, it’s a film with its limits ("it's a constant self-reference that cites others," Alex puts it well) and in the end, everything doesn't intertwine as perfectly as in his masterpiece Pulp Fiction, to name one. Carefully studied shots, cheeky dialogues, but sometimes you get the feeling of "a lot of smoke, little roast." Anyway, 8 euros well spent. It entertained me.

Oh dear, Psycho, I missed this one back in the day and they quickly caught my attention. Anyway, for all the fuzz maniacs out there, I highlight this collection of underrated - but equally bone-crushing - heavy fishing groups straddling the '60s and '70s. There’s no end to digging!

The works of Schiele (seen quite a bit live in NY, in a gallery with only paintings by Klimt and Schiele) always make me feel uncomfortable. And if they manage to do that (I'm a total ignoramus in artistic matters), it means they have great expressive power. A "cold" review, but I understand it's more difficult to talk about paintings than about music.

I remember Strap It On as a killer album. If this collection is along the same lines, I'll give it a listen. Ever since Meantime they haven't really blown me away. I don’t know, maybe it's just me. I prefer Unsane, even though the fact remains it’s definitely not my genre.

I was there in Bologna too! Of the four (incredibly tired) riders, I remember almost nothing; I went there for Filippo Anselmo, the most hardcore guy in history. Anyway, I remember them as the Roadrunner version of the '90s sludge-hipster bands (Corrosion, Down, Eyehategod, etc.), though I might be wrong. I know they bored me.

I've noted it down. You've piqued my curiosity.
