Beautiful. They hardly tell me anything from Madonna, and absolutely nothing from Source onward, what can you do? The only one I really like (a great album, seriously) is the self-titled debut. Novena Without Faith, Prince With Thousande Enemies, Ounce of Prevention were really good tracks: hardcore, smeared guitars à la Sonic Youth, psychedelia, a bit of everything. Back then they were a bunch of stoned idiots. No one should say they were expecting a turn like this! :)

By the way, your name is from a Wire song :) I do media. As for the talk about the Division, it's a good thing that the studio albums are so well-crafted. I've never heard sounds as perfect as those on New Dawn Fades, to give an example. Then, talking about their live shows, that's clearly a different story. In the end, they were doing rock'n'roll. Also, I think it's stuff to be necessarily listened to in a state of depression or on the brink of suicide...
