one of my favorites by Carpenter, perhaps the one where the dynamism and the sense of the outrageous are most exaggerated by the director; the review, although a bit lengthy, could paradoxically dive a little deeper.

The film is important but not a 5 in my opinion; however, it's worth noting that even various Italian comedies from those years weren't exactly that "cheerful."

Is it possible to find an uncut version that has the dialogues entirely in Italian? I saw the movie in a very "edited" version in the sense that it alternated conversations in the original language (dubbed in English) with parts in Italian, which was a bit cloying, to be honest...
