Best regards to you, dear sfascia. Indeed, Fabio Testi is an unsettling character. But I must say that in this film he manages quite well. No memorable performance, of course, but at least at that time he was not yet a record holder for appearances in reality shows from every country and where, nor was he running for mayor of Verona with chloroclerical parties. Hi Luka. I didn’t dwell on Fulci's career and cinema also because I believe that this film, as deserving as it is in my opinion, does not best summarize his "contents." Caravan, "Quattro dell'Apocalisse" is surely the most interesting among the spaghetti westerns made by Fulci (I also like "Le colt cantarono la morte...", as you may have gathered). Anyway, let me know your thoughts after watching it. I don’t know "Vai Gorilla," but I’ll look it up because I'm interested. A hug to Ugly Panda and voodoomiles too.

The reconstruction of Isis is correct. The protesters were isolated by the political class and by the left-wing public opinion. Even (the only?) Luciano Violante made a mea culpa a year later. It was too late, but he also pointed out that just a few months earlier in Naples there had been scandalous episodes. What happened in Genoa was a "foretold massacre," and when a death occurred, I didn’t think it was premeditated. But when you see beatings and anal searches of boys and girls not even twenty years old who have nothing to do with the violent, a death is the last thing you can be shocked by. Regarding the parallel with the stadium... I, like you I presume, go to the stadium "unarmed." I do the same at protests. Many, almost all, did the same in Naples and Genoa with the intention of demonstrating lawfully and democratically. Yet they were beaten with a violence and an "impeccable punctuality." All of this can only conceal a real political will. We cannot forget all the subliminal messages from right-wing parliamentarians that preceded and accompanied the demonstration. We cannot forget Fini's presence (unfortunately the Deputy Prime Minister) in a Genoese barracks. I have never seen all this "efficiency" (in quotes) in the law enforcement forces.

Hello geenoo. Indeed, as a songwriter, the good old Fulci already hinted at his typically splatter artistic flair...

Great game. Worthy of Warcraft I and II (I stopped at the second chapter of the series, but I still play it from time to time). I prefer Civilization, which is different, though. I was thinking of reviewing it in the coming days. We'll see. The review is spectacular. The Ipse Dixit are beautiful. I'm adding it to my favorites. And I want a beer too.

No, brusko. Unfortunately, when it comes to Israel, we are all forced to be afraid of what we say. I reiterate that I am obviously talking about the Israeli state, which as far as I'm concerned has nothing to do with any ethnicity and/or religion, and I tell you that yes, terrorists exist. Unfortunately. And the first attacks were indeed of a Zionist nature. Israel is a terrorist state. It was created from scratch in 1947 when the division of Palestine into two equal parts was imposed. It has also occupied part of the Palestinian territories since the sixties and has always historically reserved an obscene treatment for Palestinians. By now, it makes no sense to ask for the dismantling of Israel, but all this has happened with the approval of the USA, the great powers, and international public opinion. I do not justify terrorism. Almost always, it is not dictated by "proletarian resistance," but by power games and interests of people who have nothing to do with the Palestinian population. But it is also an inevitable consequence of a violent and brutal occupation that has been going on for over fifty years. Dear nes, as far as I'm concerned, I brought up the Palestinian issue as an example of "terrorism and state violence." A country that occupies another country and military reprisals are "false" responses to a terrorist who blows himself up in a square. Police systematically and methodically beating people in the square is a false response to any jerk among peaceful protesters.

Captain, this time you're mistaken. I have to quote the good Iside. That time in Genoa - just like in Naples a few months earlier - the intent of law enforcement was to beat people. No doubt about it. Why shouldn't we talk about "conspiracies" by the law enforcement? Always in the name of a political peace that makes no sense and only serves the interests of those in power? Cossiga was president of the republic, but only a few months ago he didn't hesitate to say (I quote verbatim) that we should "infiltrate the movement with provocateurs ready to do anything, and let the protesters destroy shops, set cars on fire, and wreak havoc in the cities for about ten days," and that "law enforcement should mercilessly massacre the protesters and send them all to the hospital. Don't arrest them, because the magistrates would just release them, but beat them to a pulp and beat to a pulp those teachers who incite them." He also added that he himself used this lovely strategy when he was Minister of the Interior. And you can't equate law enforcement with some random Casarini. If for your standards Casarini is a criminal, I'm quite puzzled and I wonder what pleasant places you live in. If there were any troublemakers among the protesters, that does not justify a premeditated collective beating by law enforcement, because at this point it means that any terrorist who blows himself up in some damned American skyscraper justifies wars and violence against entire populations, whether they're Afghan, Iraqi, or whoever you like. Israel has been whining for years about being persecuted by terrorists. Meanwhile, it commits abuses against the Palestinian population that are worthy of the violence the Nazis used against the Jews during World War II. And this is madness against which I will never stop fighting.
