Diego Librando Il Jazz a Napoli dal dopoguerra agli anni Sessanta

Alfredo, in fact my statement was too drastic! Let's say I follow, but not very diligently, only Django and his "followers." If Django's jazz has American roots or not is another question. Probably and inevitably, despite Django having a personal style that also drew from the centuries-old Manouche tradition, yes. Psycrotic, the Americans haven’t really chased anyone away. And the real problem, in Naples as elsewhere, is that no one bothered to chase the Americans away.

Captain and without style, I await the authoritative judgment of more authoritative debaseriani and "Fulcians", but it is also true that it's difficult to make science fiction and/or horror films (in the good sense of the term) with tight budgets available. That said, a few nights ago I watched the cult classic "The Warriors of the Year 2072" again. Astonishing. I had forgotten that the unsettling Eleonora Brigliadori also appears in the film. So maybe we can scold Fulci for always daring. Even too much.

I don't know the text in question. I won’t vote for it. However, you get a five just because you declared yourself a southern nationalist (flattering...). In truth, the review seems impeccable. I am a great admirer of Django Reinhardt—I believe he also passed through Naples in those years—but I usually don’t dig jazz. In fact, I struggle to digest American or American-influenced jazz (pretty much everything). However, it’s impossible not to praise such a capable and theatrical musician as Carosone (not to mention Gegè). James Senese is a living legend. But allow me a sad note on Renzo Arbore as the “fateful bridge between America and Naples.” In my opinion, Arbore hasn't done any good for this city. The not-so-likable Renzo has profited from this city and sadly thrived on its historical "weaknesses." Just like the Americans.

I subscribe to everything you've written in the review. Wonder Boy was a "revolution." No game has ever impressed me as much as this now-dated video game. Unfortunately, back then, the beatings discouraged me, and I rarely managed to get close to the magical "box." However, I made up for it by playing it on the legendary Commodore Amiga. I never won it. I recently tried again using an emulator for games from before the fall of the Berlin Wall. But I still couldn't do it. As beautiful as it is, it's that difficult. Five, five.

A fantastic game, at least. In my hazy mind, I thought this game was originally made in Russia, but I remembered incorrectly. This is a product of Taito Corporation (which should be the same one behind other milestones like Space Invaders and Arkanoid). By the way, I wonder what happened to the Taito Japanese! I've lost track of them after the epic Puzzle Bubble (http://www.ventoline.com/frozenbubble/bustamove640.html). In my opinion, the two gaming philosophies—one concrete that focuses solely on the final outcome, and the more spectacular one aiming to score as many points as possible—should be integrated, as they complement each other. More points also meant more "dragons" available. Anyway, it’s worth noting that Bubble Bobble was much easier to play and win when tackled in pairs. A detailed yet not overly picky review.

Anyway, I also remember Welltris. The marvelous and, at that time, curious three-dimensional version of Tetris. That said, tell me, do you know where I can find an online playable version of the Tetris from the illustration in the review?

Comrade Hugoniot, the Central Committee of the Party is pleased to inform you that it approves of your work. And it approves of Tetris, a game that is both ingenuity and proletarian and workers’ struggle. Tetris is complete and harmonious. It gives men a comprehensive conception of the world that cannot be reconciled with any superstition. With no reaction. With no defense of bourgeois oppression. Tetris is the legitimate successor of everything humanity has created best during the 19th century. German philosophy, English political economy. French socialism. Indeed, comrade, what game can better embody the spirit of the proletarian revolution than Tetris? A game made of bricks. A game where each brick, propelled solely by the motive force of ideology, cooperates with others in order to achieve the common goal of the victory of communism. The Central Committee also reserves the necessity to reconsider and study the political and intellectual positions, as well as geographical!, of gentlemen Alexey Leonidovich Pajitnov, Dmitry Pavlovsky, and Vadim Gerasimov. Especially in light of new and previously unknown issues. I salute you, comrades. Remember that the world is yours. As it is ours. But ultimately it is yours. The world belongs to you.

Good job, my friend. There's no point in trying to exorcise the demons. It's better to learn to live with them. As for Jeffrey, I say that a review of "Miami" a day keeps the doctor away. And this is a good review. Speaking of Nick Cave - it's true that he can be a bit pretentious - and the Gun Club, I want to point out the beautiful cover of "Mother Of Earth" (by the way, an extraordinary and excellent track) recorded by the red Michelino Harvey on his solo album "One Man's Treasure."
