I wrote this the other night in an hour and a half. I had been thinking about reviewing this album since Monday evening, but I thought I would need a lot of time, since it’s a difficult album. But then, the other night, inspiration hit me at half past midnight! XD So I started listening to the album, pausing it as needed to jot down my impressions, and I wrote what I “saw.” It’s an unusual review, I know, but that’s how it came out. :-) Thank you so much for the votes. @Geenoo: have you listened to the album? Look, I recommend you listen to it because it’s something sublime. Did you at least like the review a little, despite the aforementioned expressions that seem too "strong" for you?! ;-)

Listening to it a bit, maybe in some vocals the specter of black is there... but I can't find any other traces.

Good review, aside from a few typos (which can always happen ;-) ). Personally, I don't agree on the black metal; I can't see it in this album. By the way, I'm not rating it because I've listened to it too little to give a rational judgment. Let's say I love "Discouraged Ones" and "The Great Cold Distance" by Katatonia :-) I will have time to listen properly to "Dance Of December Souls" and "Brave Murder Day" as well. Cheers! PS: I've just sent my second review, it should be published soon. I should note that it's not metal, but it's still an album not to be missed ;-)

@Mukkiodossa: yes, I would never have done it, but seeing that they added a free "1" in 3..... :-)

Do you know what I say?!?! That since the album has been voted randomly a few times, I'll vote randomly too to raise the score... uah uah uah! XD

I’m seeking advice from those more experienced than me when it comes to reviews: I almost have the review ready for another album by this band (I just need to tweak a few things here and there). This is because Ensoph have been completely absent from DeBaser and because I believe it’s pointless to write reviews on albums already present, with a few exceptions (and this will be one of the reasons why I’ll write less). Should I wait to publish it or can I go ahead?

@Geenoo: Thank you for the welcome. Yes, this is my first review. I noticed the behaviors you mentioned, and that's exactly what I want to avoid. I’m okay with your personal opinion. I believe I will never be able to thoroughly explain to you why I and others appreciate such music; and I regret that. However, let me say that the album shouldn’t have been rated with a pointless "1" if you haven’t listened to it. I would give "1" to the Tokio Hotel album, but I haven’t listened to it either (thankfully my brain isn’t damaged enough to feel that need...), so I wouldn't rate it, for the sake of fairness. Regards! "Welcome to the new age born in the scorn - ENSOPH"

On this site, I have witnessed real online disputes. I registered to share my passion for music with others, and I would like to avoid deplorable episodes where people start insulting each other, etc. Thank you to those who voted.

Regarding the vote, I appreciate your defensive comments, but I would avoid escalating tensions. :-)
