The inevitable My Dying Bride (I love them... both in their beginnings and in their subsequent evolutions), something from Swallow The Sun, Funeral (especially their last two works), Virgin Black, the early Celestial Season, etc. I struggle a bit with Funeral, but I appreciate Evoken in the field (Esoteric and Skepticism are a bit tough for me... but I have time to improve :-) ). In short, I prefer doom influenced by death and gothic elements.

Terry forgiven...5 Our Fathers, 2 Hail Marys, and a quick visit to the review of "Project X-katon" ;-) Go in peace. Amen

Thank you, Terry! XD My second one from Ensoph also didn’t get many comments... oh well, what can you do :) Anyway, you’ve heard of them too... how sad that they broke up like that. Thanks again for the comment and the vote!

@Alì Murtacc: I like doom, but people like Neurosis say very little to me... my problem?!

@sorciopeloso: I took a look on Google Images... both versions of the cover are there. I don't know! I don't like it anyway, I prefer dark artwork ;-)

Nice review! :-) I left fantasy behind a while ago, but never say never; it could very well be that in a few years I'll pick up the old stuff and also some new things (I've never even read a line of Paolini's saga, just to say), you never know. The most recent fantasy thing I really like (even though it greatly diverges from the "usual" releases of warriors with big swords and the like) is - I'm already expecting jabs, booming axe blows, and magical fireballs from all of you - it's Harry Potter :-D ...besides the classics like The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, and The Silmarillion.

Thank you for the votes and comments... I hope someone else takes a moment to write something :-) @Defender85: yes, for sure the work is worthy of a listen. It's not one of those memorable pieces, but it definitely gives you certain emotions ;-)

Never heard of them... Great review, but the album cover is really ugly. I'll make sure to listen to something.
