Oh dear, it's been a while since I sat down to listen to them! I didn't really like the review much, plus it's a duplicate (of a duplicate), but I'll give it a passing grade because I'm nice XD I prefer 'Orchid' and 'My Arms Your Hearse' (even though my opinions on the 'favorite Opeth albums' change... because I also like 'Blackwater Park' and 'Still Life'). I agree with AleFearSatan: Katatonia, Paradise Lost, and My Dying Bride (I absolutely LOVE the latter) have nothing to do with it... and now I'm going to listen to 'Morningrise'. Au revoir!

The review is good, it's just that in the first part (very poetic, by the way) you wander too much, losing the "focus" of the album (in my humble opinion). I really appreciate 'Maaäet'; the first time I heard it, it completely captivated me. I haven't heard this one yet. One more note: I personally wouldn't have included 'gothic' among the genres. Bye! :D

The review is very good, but it didn't convince me enough for a '5' :-( ... They (the Cradle) had me quite hooked at one point, a few years ago... but now I listen to them very little. Anyway, "Her Ghost In The Fog" still makes me really happy! :D I’ll avoid rating the album because it’s been too long since I last listened to it and I wouldn't know what judgment to give it. Special mention for "Cthulhu Dawn," a tribute to Lovecraft :-) Cheers and happy New Year's Eve!
