I'm sorry, but I can't access external links. However, if you provide the text you want translated, I'd be happy to help!

@Larrok: you're right, I said a half-truth :D I also notice that the term "contemporary" is very fluid. But I know little about art (I had read about the periodization of Contemporary Art somewhere, but apparently everyone has their own idea), so it's better if I stop talking about it :)

@Cornell: I'm really sorry, but the term "contemporary" is quite fluid regarding its periodization. Just know that my book on Contemporary History starts from the First Industrial Revolution and the French Revolution! XD Anyway, with Contemporary Art History, we go from the 20th century to the present day, so it also includes Monet, Van Gogh, De Chirico, and the like ;)

@Kosmo: I watched the video you recommended. Interesting. However, the anti-Toggeli doll is scary! :D

An interesting group, to say the least. I must say they have a unique sound; that’s true, they are instantly recognizable (for how the guitars sound and for the deep voice). Initially, I had snubbed this, but then listening more carefully, I found it a bit more varied and rich in "Carpathia." We’ll hear the new one (spring 2010), which they say is the most diverse and the most edgy. Speròn! I must make a note for the review: the album is indeed linked to Egypt and its pantheon, but - in the 'Black Pharaoh Trilogy' - it is connected to a story by Lovecraft (a writer much liked by the two Germans here...and by me as well :D). For the rest, it's well done :) - Best tracks: The Demon Of The Mire, By Our Brotherhood With Set; just a tad (but a tiny tad) below that She-Wolf and the Black Pharaoh trilogy. The worst in my opinion is The Eldrich Beguilement. Cheers!

Great review. "Elitist"? Maybe. But who cares! :) I started reading it about a year ago, then had to stop due to lack of time, but I really want to start it over and read it to the end as soon as possible. The atmosphere it conveys is captivating.
