Nelly Furtado Folklore

O__O The review is very well written, even though there are a few typos (uhm... blame it on the Demons?! XD). The genre is not my thing, but if I had to choose between Lady Gaga and Furtado..... Furtado! :D Or even better that "Schrei X" that you placed next to :) The last track makes me laugh so much: "Kick my head.. ah ah ah ah... Kick my head.. ah ah ah ah" :) Such a funny one! With the phrase "An Endless Summer" you truly scared me: I can't wait for it to end. Bye O__O

XD It’s clear that with a mix of growls and unmentionable rituals, one learns good manners :D Come on, let’s unleash the stereotypes: "Hail Satan!" XD

I can agree that the scheme (and only that) is always the same, but it’s THEIR scheme and - IN MY OPINION (and not just mine) - it works well and serves as a foundation for varied albums. In my earlier comment, I didn’t mean to refer specifically to a black matrix, since things have changed since the days of “Satanica” (where it was more prominent, being a transitional album), but more to an “aura”... I can’t really explain it. The fact remains that you can’t make a comparison with brutal death; for me, it’s a mistake (in fact, I’m surprised when they are likened to Nile, just for the 'flavour' of the East). For me, the 4 fits perfectly. But well, it’s now clear that we think very differently. But don’t come telling me it’s music for kids, come on! I get that maybe they’ve let you down a bit lately, but that way, you’re unjustly belittling them.

So far, no one has screamed masterpiece, have you seen any 5s given to the album? I understand that perhaps the death metal reality is much more intricate than it seems, but it's worth noting that what Behemoth does isn't "simple" death metal. There is something (I don't know how to call it) iconoclastic and wicked about them that makes me think of black metal (even though musically you can only hear traces of it now). So I believe it is also incorrect to refer to their work as "simple" death metal. This is done for convenience, but it is undeniable that they have a highly distinctive way of making music. On the other hand, Nergal himself has said that he does not fully identify with the conception of death metal...

(it has been discovered that the legendary number of the Beast is not 666, but 616; from what I’ve read, it seems it was an error resulting from a mistranslation)

Hello Mr. CasaMorta! :D I'm not tacky, no, but I have the impression that sometimes the length dilutes things too much... it's just my opinion, which may not be shared :) Anyway, they have good taste, yes - PS: I have shutters and windows closed, and yet it's unbearably hot. I swear I can't take it anymore with the summer! Those few times it drizzles, I am so happy and a silly grin spreads across my face :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)
