I'm reading the review again, I don’t have time right now... Extremely immature record, 4 is really too much. Concerning the sound, Il Freddo is right in comment #7. The only "power" band I still listen to every now and then is this one; I’ve eliminated the rest; but "Imaginations From The Other Side" and "Nightfall In Middle-Earth" are absolute masterpieces. Bye!

So... I asked a friend of mine. She said that first of all "staya" is not spelled with a 'y' but with a 'j' (regarding the transition from the Cyrillic alphabet to the Latin one... ?????? ???? = Volnaja Staja) and that it translates to "PACK OF WOLVES" (so the cover makes sense too). So it’s confirmed, Sanskrit has nothing to do with it. Jurix, you must have made a mistake because when you type "staya" into Google, it brings up almost all results with "satya" (and that is indeed Sanskrit). Damn metathesis! XD LONG LIVE LANGUAGES AND LINGUISTICS! :D

Good ZOT! Jurix. Noooo, not Sanskrit nooooooo!! :D I have to study some things about the history of linguistics, and the discovery of Sanskrit was a fundamental step...anyway, "truth" in Sanskrit is "satya," not "staya." From the translation of the tracklist, it seems that "staya" means "package," probably in Russian (www.metal-archives.com/release.php ?id=151192). Just to be sure, I'll ask a couple of my friends who study Russian. Well, back to my exercises on Germanic changes :D Bye Jurix!

Then, if I can add one last thing, critical editions are called that precisely because they have an apparatus for text analysis. And I don't think that without such apparatus, this particular text is comprehensible (unless one limits oneself to "reading it like a novel," thus rendering it pointless with respect to the purpose for which it was published). It is obvious - in this specific case - that such analysis takes up more space than the text itself. I haven't read it, so I can't assess its depth, but I believe it does this, contextualizing the text within the historical-cultural framework and providing a comparative analysis with the canonical Gospels.

I’ve read here and there, and that’s it, so I’m not voting. Have they discovered a new language? No, because I’ve never heard of CROPTO... maybe you meant the Coptic language (which is actually an "evolutionary stage" of the Egyptian language, written in the Greek alphabet). Then that 'big book' next to the page number (174) really caught my eye: if for you this is a big book, what do you call those with 600 pages (or even 1000)?! :D

I saw it feeling hopeful and left the theater slightly (emphasizing the 'slightly') disappointed. I don’t know, I expected something more. Nevertheless, it’s still a really beautiful film, with spectacular settings and a disturbing undertone… who wouldn’t want to have buttons sewn in place of their eyes?! :D Maybe watching it again will make me appreciate it even more.
