Dead Can Dance Anastasis
Voto:
I round up the rating for the album because a comeback like this after so many years is truly commendable. And seeing them live was a beautiful experience.

I give her an extra star because, even though a couple of pieces are less impactful, the rest I really like a lot. Great artist.

Actually, I wanted to reply to highlande. And I don’t know why the stars were sent on their own. Has debasio changed in these four years of my absence?

Come on, listen to it, it's good for you.

4.5, which I gladly round up. "Boat Turns Toward The Port" brings tears. See you soon, Anja.
Dark Fortress Ylem
Voto:
I liked it. It's true, there are two or three tracks that seem superfluous, or at least less successful (one is definitely "Rediviver", but I would also add "As The World Keels Over" - which personally leaves me feeling a bit indifferent - and the "experiment" "Wraith"), but generally it’s a beautiful album, no doubt. Highlights: "Ylem", "Silence", "Evenfall" and the doomish "The Valley".
Anneke Van Giersbergen Everything Is Changing
Voto:
Despite her wonderful voice, which I am very fond of, it alone is not enough to make good music, unfortunately. "Air" was a nice album in my opinion; it had some good tracks, but then it all went downhill. I'm sorry.
HBO Game Of Thrones - Il Trono Di Spade
Voto:
My vote goes to the original series, not dubbed (which I haven't seen). I haven't read Martin's saga, so I don't base my opinion on a comparison between the two "versions"; the television product "Game of Thrones" deserves recognition on its own, in my opinion. As you said, it's interesting because it emphasizes the power games, and I find the original title more significant than the translation adopted by the Italian adaptation. I also expected a cliché-filled story, but I had to change my mind very quickly, and happily so! Looking forward to the second season starting on April 1st.
