Destruction Infernal Overkill
Voto:
Together with "To Mega Therion" (Uh!) by the Swiss band Celtic Frost, "Infernal Overkill" is one of the cornerstones of European thrash metal. I like "Eternal Devastation" less, and it has a production that doesn't convince me, perhaps due to the overly sharp sound of the guitars. The songs from ED are better live, in "Live Without Sense."
Chris Squire Fish Out Of Water
Voto:
I mostly agree with you, Joe, but I don’t see anything of King Crimson in "Hold Out Your Hand"; Yes have a completely different style (for me + fik_).

I take back that crazy "the six best records in the history of rock," let's say (without a shadow of a doubt) six among the best of the progressive. Here, one cannot give more than 2, it is largely inferior to the previous ones.
Emperor In The Nightside Eclipse
Voto:
The album is a milestone; excellent review.
Cradle Of Filth Godspeed On The Devil's Thunder
Voto:
I find it a bit hard to listen to Cradle because of the hysterical screams of the pocket-sized vampire, but I join in the praises for "Dusk...And Her Embrace," an album filled with enchanting melodies.
Dream Theater Images And Words
Voto:
Nice references to cheese and the "Portnoy family," and I even found Steve Howe in the yellow pages. LaBrie doesn't have a great voice, but the imitation of a twelve-year-old girl was no joke, not even for the great Robert Plant in "The Song Remains The Same" (without taking anything away from the song). Among the eight, I choose tracks 2, 3, and 4.
Return To Forever Where Have I Known You Before

Sure! Please provide the text you'd like me to translate.
Gorgoroth Antichrist
Voto:
I don't vote because I don't know Gorgoroth. To Katharsys: since you persist (cancer, cirrhosis), I suggest you check (in case you missed it) the latest comment on the review of Malmsteen's "Trilogy" written by Dream Warrior. It's not a provocation, I'm just saying it for your own benefit.
Steve Winwood Arc of a Diver
Voto:
I quote Sylvian1982, Steve Winwood is a top-class artist; as a solo performer, he is my favorite singer. "Arc Of A Diver" is definitely his best album, one of the few gems of pop music that can stand comparison with the contemporary "Gaucho" by Steely Dan.
Rick Wakeman Journey to the centre of the earth
Voto:
I confirm, this has been copied from Rizzi's book. The album is an abominable mishmash; the Moody Blues were much more pleasant in their experimentation with rock + orchestra.
