Absolutely one of my favorite albums and my favorite by Prince. However, I wouldn't say it's sparse; on the contrary, it seems to me that the arrangements are more complex than in his other albums.

I had the same reaction as the reviewer. I was left awestruck and dreaming. I also listen to a lot of music. In Italy, the album will be released at the end of August with a double CD (the second reintroduces the previous EP and some unreleased tracks). @psychopompe: how did you manage to download it months ago? It came out at the beginning of July. Are you referring to the EP?
