in the end, for me, the least appealing of the trilogy, as it lacks the epic battles that have always been my favorite moments in cinema; I’ve always found the overly bla bla parts a bit boring (especially the part about the love story between Aragorn and the elf ...). I agree that Legolas/Bloom is unbearable ^^ overall, however, it remains an excellent adaptation, one of the few times that a film based on a book I liked a lot didn't disappoint me.
