Esben And The Witch Wash The Sins Not Only The Face
Voto:
wow, you almost made me want to listen to them; even though I already have a ton of backlogs with dark music, even among the historic names (Sisters of Mercy and Christian Death being the main ones)... also the 3rd and the Mortal that you mentioned, by the way, it's been like a lifetime that I keep planning to listen to them...

beautiful chaos over there, I had missed this one; at the moment I'm not really in the mood for jazz, but I'm glad to see that you pop up around here once in a while :)

a pop like ipecac? maybe I'll give it a listen if I find the time... interesting recommendation in any case
My Bloody Valentine M B V

I’m honestly a bit skeptical about the actual quality of this album, and since I have about a hundred backlogged listens, I’ll wait a few more months for the hype to die down (right now, I feel that both the pro and con judgments are probably skewed) to see if this little album will stand the test of time... In any case, I don’t quite understand the discussion around "if it had come out in the 90s, I would have liked it," either an album is enjoyable or it isn't; what does the release year have to do with it? And it's obvious that we could expect something that at least partly recaptures their usual atmospheres.

I've always hated them... :)
Bad Religion True North

I've never been particularly fond of Bad Religion and their whole style; they leave me feeling neither here nor there... Anyway, if it can console you, I never reread reviews either ;D
Litfiba Live @ Alcatraz, Milano - Trilogia Tour 1983-1989, 30-31.01.13
Voto:
Sorry, but isn't it contradictory to say that this is a dive into the past, that fans have long dreamed of seeing the old lineup again, and that it is NOT a nostalgia operation?! o_O

Anyway, come on, in that regard tell me which albums, apart from his two most famous ones, you recommend...
R.E.M. Life Rich Pageant
Voto:
Anyway, this is one of the few of theirs that I like a bit more, precisely because they are a bit meaner and less whiny...
Nicolas Winding Refn Bronson - L'Uomo, Il Mito, La Celebrità
Voto:
oh, finally I watched the third Refn film and I must say that I liked it, the guy has style and definitely deserves to be watched... he hasn't produced the Masterpiece for me yet, but he can still give us plenty of satisfaction in the future.
