Anyway, the fact that the film partially "disappointed" me probably also stems from the fact that I had set my expectations too high. Here, aside from a few flashes, the film is still too "standard" and not Cronenbergian enough for my taste.

He is a director that I really like, even though I find this one, while not bad at all, much less mature and successful than many of his other films; although a couple of scenes (testa espolsiva) have become legendary.
