I've never really liked giant robot series, so I haven't followed them... except for Evangelion, which I'm not sure if it's considered part of that genre.

I saw them live, and they weren't half bad; even though I didn't know them, the concert really impressed me positively! On CD, though, they don't grab me as much.

It's true! I also appreciated games from back in the day more, when you had to really sweat it out to finish them! And anyway, that retro, pixelated graphics are still the best—ah, cursed nostalgia! I wonder how I'll turn out when I'm older if I'm already like this now.

I don't watch anime anymore for the same reason; even though the fights, of course, look a bit less impressive on paper than on video, what can you do... I think Naruto has become way too strong, considering he’s still just a kid, but in the end, it makes sense since he is the protagonist. I certainly appreciated it more at the beginning when the powers were more balanced and Naruto wasn't the strongest in the situation; it felt more realistic than the usual mangas (like Dragon Ball, where if Goku doesn’t show up, nothing ever gets done). It’s a shame there’s not much Neji anymore, he was one of my favorite characters, along with Gaara (who, ever since he softened up, has lost a bit of his charm...).

Indeed, short series that wrap up in a maximum of around ten issues are better. Let’s hope they conclude both Naruto and Berserk while they are still at least at a respectable level.
