@iside: how much demagoguery!

Apart from the fact that all the phrases containing things like "always, every time, etc." are wrong in 99% of cases, and that even the term "people" always makes me suspicious, I would like to remind you that it is the people who vote for Berlusconi, form patrols, hanged blacks and Jews from lampposts, and have contributed to the rise of all the great modern dictatorships, etc.

The people are the ones who now in America hold tea parties after having praised Obama as the new messiah until recently.

I certainly don’t want to arrive at the opposite conclusion that the government is always right, on the contrary, I am far from that.

Nice review, even though I'm not in a classic period at the moment, it deserved at least a comment! :)

Anyway, do you have enough free time to always read all the books of this kind? :)
But how about a nice novel by Dostoevsky instead?

Anyway, it's sad that nowadays musical discussions on the site only arise to trash bands (like Allevi) while where we could talk "constructively," it never happens... :/

Well, well... 5 a priori because you’re dealing with music that’s not often considered here on the site (even though, in fact, these are difficult things to review) and also because it’s well written and you know your stuff :)
Anyway, Vivaldi is the composer who got me into classical music; The Four Seasons was my first love in the genre and it still remains one of my favorites today. However, I'm not knowledgeable about the lesser-known works; I haven’t delved into the genre at that level yet and I mainly know the things that are more or less well-known by everyone, at least by name.

@iside: come on, you can't tell me that advances in the field of medicine have nothing to do with it?! Let's not always be alternative just for the sake of it... and I don't doubt that there are scams and speculators in medicine, as in every field, but let's set some limits.

Well, I haven't read the whole article, but apparently the book claims that medicine is bad and natural herbs are not...
So, is it just a lucky coincidence that since medicine has developed, life expectancy has increased a ton?
And that in Africa and elsewhere where they don't have medicines, people die from any little thing?
