Anyway, in fact the sentence "I definitely stand with those who think like me!" deserves full marks.

Ah, well, I just saw that I'm wasting time responding to a fake, I really am a fool.

I'm sorry I don't meet your standards of acceptability; anyway, you're the fool judging others without knowing them. Oh, and the "666" was meant more ironically, certainly not to say look how I'm TVUE and ANGRILY SATANIC, but why am I telling you this? Why am I wasting my time responding to you? Maybe I am indeed a bit of a fool, or at least an idiot...

@rage: well, I’d say that if we say that Genesis, Van der Graaf Generator, and King Crimson are more original and innovative, it’s hard to argue against that; of course, innovation isn’t everything in music, and you can also bring something new by referring back to already known sounds, but we can talk about a minimum of derivativeness, right? And as I said before, I absolutely don’t want to take anything away from the bands that, as I mentioned, I want to listen to in the future.

In short: sometimes the books we remember best are NOT necessarily the ones we've read, but the ones we've simply imagined by looking at the cover. ---> well, let's say it also depends on what you usually read, huh!

Oh, and just to say, there will also be those who listen (almost) exclusively to metal, but if that's the case, there are also the enthusiasts of jazz/indie/punk/progressive/classic al/electronic, etc., so why label metalheads as fanatics when every category has its own die-hard fans?

I haven’t listened to anything from neo-prog yet; sooner or later, I want to give a chance at least to "Spock's Beard," "Marillion," "Porcupine Tree," and "IQ," which are the ones you generally hear the most positive things about. But the fact is, I still have so many works from the first wave to listen to, so for now, I prefer to stick to what is still more "original."

@stoney: aside from the fact that I chose this nickname when I was 18, I'm not about to change it now. I can tell you that I have a decent collection of records for every genre I listen to, so jazz/metal/hard rock/kraut/classical/electronic/pro gressive, etc. I'm not just defining myself as a metalhead, but having entered the world of music through that genre, it still holds a certain sentimental value for me. Of course, in genres like electronic music, which I've been listening to for less time, I don't have the same number of records as I do in metal, which I've been into for over 5 years. For example, I have about a hundred jazz CDs, thanks in part to my father, who was an enthusiast. Basically, I'm open to all kinds of listening, so… I'm not exactly ready for a fight; it just bothers me when people pass judgments.

I've heard good things about it, in fact... sooner or later I should listen to it myself.

@stoney: and out of curiosity, what would be the way to approach the music of metalheads? And above all, how come you know it with such certainty?
