I've never been enthusiastic about them, even though they are highly regarded in the industry, including among the metalheads I come from... ^^

really not bad, tonight I put it on for the first time and I'm already on my third listen...

Anyway, why do I have to put the usual pretty girl as the protagonist in horror movies, when we already know she'll be the only one to make it out alive?! Enough already!

Alright, I’ll check it out! =)
Aynsley Dunbar Retaliation Remains To Be Heard

great review, I don't mind the blues at all, aided by my father who is a fan of it, but I've always just listened to scattered stuff
Roxy Music Stranded

I completely disagree with defining this album as the end of Roxy. Even the subsequent "Country Life" is excellent to me; I think they start to decline a bit with "Siren." Even "Avalon" (loved by critics and the public) doesn't appeal to me much—too pop for my tastes... I preferred them when they were able to combine the melody of pop with the sophistication of art-rock.

beautiful album, definitely my favorite by them...
Kathryn Bigelow Zero Dark Thirty

So is The Hurt Locker good then? I missed it back then, because from how it was described to me, I imagined it to be something quite avoidable... Anyway, if it really manages to make a non-rhetorical film on the subject (at least not too much), hats off.

great album, but I prefer the previous one, much more sick and trippy... in any case, nice and original blend of prog/psych/kraut
My Bloody Valentine Ep's 1988-1991

Good job, I've also wanted to review it for, I don't know how many months, but I never knew what the hell to write about it; finally, the gap is filled... a collection that definitely worth the price, considering also the significant amount of material... and for those who still aren't familiar with the EPs in question, I highly recommend them; much better than the (rather pointless) new album.
