welcome! they’re very nice, even though I only know elephant and icky thump well, which I like.

I don't know, they've never really driven me crazy, even if of course when I was younger I happened to hear some tracks here and there... I agree that it's pointless to spend too many words on albums like these.

Well, that's true too, but I'm of the opinion that magazines help you get oriented because the web is too overwhelming at the beginning if you don't know a bit which direction to focus on :)

I still have to fully absorb the debut, which I found quite interesting but after a couple of listens, I put it aside because I was in the mood for different sounds, and then I lost track of it... I will take advantage of the new release to give it another listen! And I must say, I really like the cover, even though so far I've heard more negative comments than positive about the CD. However, it's still early to have too reliable judgments at this stage.

I've heard quite a bit of good things about him, but I haven't heard anything yet; maybe I'll lend an ear in the future.

Anyway, I was dependent on magazines at the beginning too, but once you've built your musical cultural foundations, it's much better to use the web. However, I always used to get Metal Hammer :)

To be honest, they've never really driven me crazy, but unlike many, I actually prefer the second period to the first. Generally, with melodic death, I stop at At the Gates, who are still a good compromise between melody and brutality; death shouldn’t be melodic, damn it! (And the same goes for thrash and black!)
