Let’s say that aside from the mainstream it's now harder to find magnets for the masses, since the offer of bands and subgenres has multiplied countless times; once, even in the alternative scene, you had 4-5 names and that was that. Now there are an infinite number of interesting things out there. Nonetheless, the metal scene has produced a couple of crowd-pleasing bands quite recently: Slipknot, SOAD, Korn, Deftones.

For me, the best of Metallica remains Kill 'Em All, which by the way, with its original title and cover would have spakkato (with a ‘k’ because it's really intense) even more.

And anyway, this year's Sonisphere wasn't bad at all; too bad I had already seen Iron, Slipknot, and Motörhead, but for the rookie medalists, it has been a nice season so far :)

beautiful review :) just a couple of remarks: the Slayer after Reign in Blood also made South of Heaven and Season in the Abyss! and to those who say "it's always the same old names that attract people" ---> just look, it's like this in all genres, people are willing to spend 90 euros for AC/DC, Madonna, U2 etc. I'd say the price wasn't unreasonable, I think it was around 70 euros for 4 historic and talented bands, which is less than 20 euros per band and I would say each one is worth it. If it weren't for the fact that the two I was most interested in (Slayer and Megadeth) I had already seen, I would have made the jump... and anyway... SLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYER RULEZ!

Then again, in Italy, Confindustria is led by a woman, then there's Hillary Clinton in America, and I would also mention Merkel, who is indeed at the head of one of the five most powerful nations in the world... In fact, there are women who have achieved something, without the need to talk about those who were behind their husbands.

But, I may be someone who grew up in an open and progressive environment, yet among those I know, there isn't a single one who thinks that women are better/worse than men. I find it sad that in the 21st century there's still a need to beat around the bush with these tired and overused arguments... Ah, and anyway, I still believe that feminists = male chauvinists = wrong; we should simply advocate for equal rights and nothing more; feminism, on the other hand, often transforms into a desire for revenge and a sense of superiority over the male gender.
