Queen Greatest Hits

Anyway, I got to know Queen (and their music) through the Platinum Collection, which gathered the 3 greatest hits, and this was the best one (even though it was less immediate than the second one, which I actually liked more at first).

But in the end, it's also logical; the fact is that nowadays there are too many new bands and too many CDs coming out, so only a minority will know them. People discuss the bands they know, and if you stick to the "classics," naturally the pool of interlocutors increases exponentially. I understand that reviewers may not feel like writing only about new bands; for example, I listen to 90% of stuff that's at least 10 years old. Practically, 95% of what I listen to has already been reviewed, and I imagine it's the same for others... So, I'm all for duplicates; if people are truly tired of them, they simply won't read them, but there will always be someone for whom the old bands and CDs feel new and will want to discuss them. Smith would say to let the invisible hand of the market take care of it. :)

Ah, you really like him, huh? I still haven't quite figured him out, though I haven't listened to him enough times yet.

4 since it's the first and you can tell you've put in effort; they generally don't enjoy much respect, but in my opinion, looking at the target audience, they weren't too bad with Tarja; however, this album didn't convince me much, for me the radical change of vocalist was a bad idea (even though I understand they wanted a completely different voice to avoid comparisons, but people make them anyway :))

I really liked the review; I've been wanting to tackle this work for a while, but the amount of CDs and the necessary money have held me back so far. When I have 80 euros to spend, I'll make sure to get it anyway :)

So, is this stuff really that awesome?
James Horner Titanic

Well, I find him rather overrated as a director; especially Avatar, which, apart from its technical aspects, was pretty underwhelming. This film is watchable, but it doesn't blow me away, too mushy ^^

but let's not always praise mediocrity... relativism is fine, but only up to a certain point.

Lately, after a long time, I've managed to appreciate doom, and I will gradually listen to the various essentials. These, along with Candlemass and Saint Vitus, are always mentioned by everyone, so I'll check them out too :)
