@sfascia: are the Deftones really modest? maybe they faded out early and perhaps they haven't produced albums comparable to "A Love Supreme" or similar, but in the heavy/alternative scene (especially if we look at recent history) I don't think there are many albums at the level of "Around the Fur" or "White Pony"...

Well, there are definitely a lot of great albums in Italian music, but when it comes to masterpieces, real masterpieces that have marked the history of music, I think there are a bit fewer compared to the more famous countries (aside from a few names), limiting myself to rock, of course. In other fields (classical, opera), we surely have few rivals. That being said, Banco is an excellent band, definitely better than many foreign ones.

@kosmo: So is The Bachelor really as "brilliant" as they say? I know you were passionate at first, but then you seemed to lose a bit of interest. @0_0: I read that this album is meant to be more of a divertissement (or however it's spelled) written in the throes of ecstasy from a new love, so the lighter tones would be due to that :)
