Well, for me they are a great group. I tried to be a bit strict with the rating since in the end it remains lower than Avalon, which was already lower than the two initial masterpieces; but in the end, we know that the rating is a secondary aspect :)

So, as can be understood from the review, I did not dislike it at all, but I’m also quite a fan of Roxy&co, so maybe I’m not entirely objective ;) However, to be honest, I found mostly positive comments online as well; at worst, you can check it out in advance on YouTube/Emule.

I've heard their name mentioned countless times, but I don't know why they don't particularly inspire me; maybe it's because pre/proto-metal usually doesn't drive me crazy (like NWOBHM in general) but I prefer the later phases.

I really liked the book, but I didn't watch the movie because a) I generally prefer not to watch film adaptations of books I've read since they often tend to disappoint me or, in any case, add nothing, and b) even more so in this case, I was skeptical about how they could effectively translate everything onto the screen.
