Soviet propaganda Otctonm Mockby!

To be honest, these propaganda matters remind me more of how those in power manipulate those who don’t conform, rather than all the (rhetorical) concepts they claim to stand for, to make them suffer in defense of their own interests.

I only know his most often cited hole and nail, but I really like those! However, I don’t have time to delve into the rest for now.

everything is very beautiful and compared to those who died to defend their homeland etc but let’s remember that the Russians had already invaded Finland (and decided to divide Poland with the Nazis, with whom at first they got along famously) and then they subdued half the continent, suffocating in blood the attempts of revolt (see Czechoslovakia, Budapest, etc). Moreover, the Russians were among the armies that committed the most atrocities against both civilian and non-civilian populations. That said, I’m glad that the Russians stopped (heavily contributing to) the Nazis, but I’m equally glad that Western Europe remained outside of Soviet influence, which in my opinion wouldn’t have been better than Nazi-fascist influence.

Nice review; however, I only know them from pornography and well, the single taken from this album is of course not unknown to me.

I have never heard this record; but is it also "nice" to listen to or especially interesting from an experimental point of view?

I don't know, after hearing about them for a lifetime, I decided to listen to them, but they didn't really say much to me. Anyway, my musical tastes are heading in a completely different direction these days.

Well, putting aside what it eventually became, at the time it represented a breath of fresh air in the genre and does its duty to entertain. Let's also keep in mind that they managed to achieve success by making a film primarily set in one room and with a shoestring budget, so let's give them some credit!
